Therefore, I sourced vintage 11 1/2" Doll Dresses at eBay and Flickr for hours
Finally I found a dress just like this one with a drop waist and buttons on the back

Most of my vintage Barbie clothing items have the factory attached Paper Inspector Tag (PIT) in place which usually indicates minimal playwear.
