Vintage 2 Dolls 1965 Uneeda Pee Wee 3 ½” Doll & Unmarked 4” JAPAN Soft body head

Description

Both miniature dolls belonged to my mother who played with them in the 1960’s.
Details for Unbranded Vintage Japan 4” Soft Doll Long Red Hair, Blue Eyes:
*
She is about 4” tall, has soft body and head, her leg/arm joints move. She has long red hair, blue eyes, red lips, and a hole in her mouth. She is wearing a crocheted orange skirt. No other clothes or shoes are included.
*On the back of her head is marked “T” in a circle; on her back is this same “T” symbol and the words “JAPAN”.
*The original hair rubber band deteriorated so it was replaced with a new rubber band to keep her hair in her original style.
*There is a very faint gray mark on her upper inner left thigh and two very small gray circles on her outer left leg (see photos).
*Her right leg is harder and not as “squishy” as the rest of her body.
Details for Vintage 1965 U.D. Co, Inc Pee Wee Uneeda Character doll:
*She is about 3 1/2” tall and has a hard plastic body with legs and arms that don’t move. She has a soft head with red hair in a bobbed-style and blue side-glancing eyes. Her head turns. She is wearing white lace-trimmed dress of red with large white polka dots that is tied with a red ribbon at the waist. She also has a triangle-shaped red hat with same white polka dots. No underwear or shoes included.
*On her back is marked © U.D. CO. INC 1965 PEE WEE TM
*One of her left fingers has a hole in the end of it (see photo).
Please note that dolls with clothing were stored by my mother in a box for 50+ years and have always been from a smoke-free home. The items appear to be in good vintage condition, showing some wear/age/imperfections.
