This is a rare programme (playbill) from the West End revival of thecult favorite RICHARD O'BRIEN musical "THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW" at the Piccadilly Theatre in London. (This revival opened July 16th, 1990 and ran for 392 performances.) ..... What started as the creation of an out-of-work actor, "THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW" has become an international phenomenon, translated into more than twenty languages and performed on every continent. With music, lyrics and book all written by RICHARD O'BRIEN, the show is a humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror movies of the 1940's through the early 1970's. CONDITION: With the exception of minor soiling at the bottom of one inside page (third scanned image) and light surface rubbing to the cover, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
