    This is a rare April 11th, 1938 playbill from the Original Broadway production of the JOSEPH A. FIELDS and JEROME CHODOROV comedy "SCHOOLHOUSE ON THE LOT" at the Ritz Theatre in New York City. (The production opened March 22nd, 1938 and ran for only 55 performances.) ..... The play spoofed the behind-the-scenes antics and tantrums of Hollywood's highly paid child actors and the cast included SIDNEY LUMET, the future Oscar-nominated director of over 50 films.
