    Original West End production of the MARC SHAIMAN and SCOTT WITTMAN musical comedy hit "HAIRSPRAY" at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London. (The Original Broadway production opened August 15th, 2002 at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York City and closed January 4th, 2009 after a run of 2642 performances.
