This is a rare January 20th, 1938 program (playbill) from the three-night, National Tour engagement of ORSON WELLES' Mercury Theatre Production of the William Shakespeare classic "JULIUS CAESAR" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. (The Mercury Theatre's revival of "Julius Caesar" opened November 11th, 1937 at New York's Mercury Theatre, moved to the National Theatre on January 31st, 1938 and ran for 157 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The play starred LAWRENCE FLETCHER in the title role and TOM POWERS as "Marcus Brutus" and the cast included EDMOND O'BRIEN, WILLIAM W.
