Up for sale is a hardback book titled, Marriage Records for jefferson County Mt. Vernon, Illinois, 1874-1905 which was copied by mrs.
L
eo harlow (Ruth Pearl Hails); alphabetized and printed by Mrs. Joseph Gary (Mary Alice Harlow). It has a 1988 date at the bottom of the title page.

he book measures 11/2 inches tall and almost 9 inches wide. There is one page that is beginning to come loose that I have tried to show in the pictures.  The book is arranged alphabetical and lists males and females. They do admit that due to poor handwriting, some mistakes might occur but they tried to both proofread and investigate possible errors.  It is a great source for your
genealogy
research!
