This is a rare March 5th, 1951 playbill from the two week, Post-Broadway engagement of the S. N. BEHRMAN play "I KNOW MY LOVE" at the Gayety Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland. (The production opened November 2nd, 1949 at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre in New York City and ran for 247 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred ALFRED LUNT and LYNN FONTANNE (both shown in the cover illustration) and featured ESTHER MITCHELL, WILLIAM LE MASSENA, CHARLES BOWDEN, THOMAS PALMER, MARY FICKETT, RENEE ORSELL, SANDY CAMPBELL, J. P. WILSON, VELMA BOYNTON, LEO LUCKER, EDWARD ANDREWS, GAYE JORDAN, ROBERT CRAWLEY, SARAH MARSHALL, DONALD HARRIS, PAULA HOUSTON, PHILIP SWANDER and ROBERT PASCHALL ..... Note: STEPHEN SONDHEIM received his first professional credit (third scanned image) when he was asked to arrange the song "Christmas Carol" which was added to the production during the Post-Broadway tour ..... This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
