“Elvis: That’s the Way It Is – Special Edition” Turner Classic Movies TCM press kit for their month-long (66th) birthday tribute to the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll highlighted by the January 15, 2001 world television premiere of the completely re-cut and re-mastered concert film. The press kit consists of the TCM color folder, 11 pages of production information and four 35mm slides of Elvis (2 color 35mm slides from “”That’s the Way It Is”, 1 black and white 35mm slide from “G.I. Blues” and 1 black and white 35mm slide from “Stay Away Joe”). We’ve provided a view of the slide images by laying them on a light box (which does not do justice to the sharpness of the slides). Overall good condition with dates Jan. 15, 21 and 27 handwritten on the folder and handwritten notes in ink (by the journalist originally provided the kit for their story write-up) on 6 of the pages.
