    Description

This was quite an unusual find. There are no other ones like it on eBay except the smaller companion piece that I’m listing as well. It is a reproduction Staffordshire chimney pots of the Victorian Edwardian era. Nearly 500 varieties were manufactured. Specialist in the midlands were “the bishop“ and “the square pot“ an Intercal part of our urban landscape featured in Arnold Bennett’s Clayhanger and the card. This beautiful piece is produced by Buleigh out of Staffordshire England. It is a hexagonal shape and is the queens crown. It is number two and was sculpted by E. T. Bailey. This beautiful piece measures 9 5/8 inches tall the base has a diameter of 4 inches in perfect condition
