This is a rare February 15th, 1937 programme (playbill) from the opening week of the West End revival of GEORGE BERNARD SHAW's comedic drama "CANDIDA" performed in repertory with the THORNTON WILDER one-act play "LOVE AND HOW TO CURE IT" at the Globe Theatre in London. (The revival of "Candida" opened February 10th, 1937 and ran for 101 performances.) ..... "CANDIDA" starred ANN HARDING in the title role and featured NICHOLAS HANNEN, ATHENE SEYLER, GEOFFREY EDWARDS, EDWARD CHAPMAN and STEPHEN HAGGARD .....
